Jason choreographed this project for StreetWise Opera in addition to appearing as Mr Sands.
Handel and Hendrix lived next door to each other in London’s Brrok Street, separated by time. Mr Sands and his guides take the audience on a journey through the walls of the two houses. Time travelling with two devoted fans to catch glimpses of the lives of these two great musicians. Time flows backwards and forwards on this magical promenade.
Streetwise Opera’s mission is to provide a framework which encourages and enables homeless and formerly homeless people to realise their potential by taking part in professional music making.
The production involved The London Handel Orchestra directed by Laurence Cummings and The Thomas Gray Band.
